a. Da Dat is committed to protecting the privacy of our users and ensuring the responsible handling of their personal information. This Data Deletion Policy outlines the procedures and timelines for the deletion of user data.
2. Request for Data Deletion
a. Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data stored on the Da Dat platform.
b. To initiate a data deletion request, users should contact our Customer Support team at customerservice@dadat.bz.
3. Verification of Requests
a. Da Dat may request additional information from the user to verify their identity and ensure the legitimacy of the data deletion request.
b. Upon successful verification, Da Dat will proceed with the data deletion process.
4. Deletion of Personal Data
a. Upon receiving a valid data deletion request, Da Dat will promptly and securely delete the user’s personal data from our systems, databases, and backups.
b. Certain data may be retained for a limited period if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records, transaction history).
5. Timeline for Data Deletion
a. Da Dat will make reasonable efforts to process data deletion requests within 5 business days from the date of receipt.
b. Users will be notified upon completion of the data deletion process.
6. Exceptions to Deletion
a. Certain data may be exempt from deletion if required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or other legitimate business purposes.
7. Backups and Archives
a. Deleted data may persist in system backups or archives for a limited time. These backups will be retained for a specified duration and will be subject to automatic deletion in due course.
8. Data Deletion after Account Closure
a. When a user closes their Da Dat account, their personal data will be deleted in accordance with this Data Deletion Policy.
